Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Caroline's prayer request for her nephew Edmund. Lord, we ask that you would comfort Edmund in his loneliness and sadness. You are a God who sees and understands the pain of feeling alone. Your Word tells us in Psalm 68:6 that you are a Father to the fatherless and a defender of the lonely.
We pray that you would surround Edmund with your love and peace, reminding him that he is never truly alone because you are always with him. Help him to know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that his worth is not determined by the number of friends he has.
Lord, we ask that you would intervene in Edmund's situation at school. Soften the hearts of his classmates and open their eyes to see the value and uniqueness that Edmund brings. May they extend kindness and friendship towards him, creating a supportive and inclusive environment for him to thrive in.
We also pray for Caroline, that you would give her strength and comfort as she sees her nephew hurting. Help her to trust in your perfect timing and plan for Edmund's life. Remind her that you are a God who hears and answers prayers, even when it may seem like there is no immediate change.
In Jesus' name, we pray for Edmund to find a good friend at school who will bring joy and companionship into his life. May this friendship be a source of encouragement and support for him. We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for the assurance that you are working all things together for Edmund's good.
Amen.
