We are truly moved by your request for your father and we stand with you in prayer and support. First, we want to commend you for mentioning Jesus' name for the prayers. While there is power in praying together, the Bible tells us that there is no other name by which we can be saved. Only Jesus can intercede to God on our behalf. Let's come together in prayer in Jesus' name.
Let's pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, Your Son, lifting up our dear brother who is afflicted with many physical ailments. We know that we are saved by faith in Your son Jesus and Your Son heals physically and spiritually. Lord, You know his struggles with sleep, pain, and discomfort. You know his difficulties with eating, drinking, swallowing, chewing, and speaking. We pray for Your healing touch upon him. We stand on Your word in James 5:14-15, "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him."
Father, we pray for his sleep issues and all the underlying causes. We ask for Your healing over his back pain, leg pain, frequent urination, throat irritation, and coughing. We pray for his complete recovery from his orthopedic surgery and for strength and mobility to be restored to his body. We pray for his Parkinson's disease to be healed in Jesus' name and for his overall health to improve.
We also pray for mercy, forgiveness, and healing as requested. We know that You are a merciful God, full of grace. We pray for healing and strength for him to carry on. We pray for protection from any bad temptations and for a renewed faith and relationship with You.
Father, we also pray for his emotional and spiritual well-being. We pray for Your peace to fill his heart and mind. We pray for his family, that You would give them strength, patience, and wisdom as they care for him. We pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to be on them all.
We ask these things in faith, believing in the power and the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, in the original language Anointed One or Messiah. We pray that Your will be done in his life and in the lives of his family. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, for His power is made perfect in weakness. Remember the words of Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 WEB, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."
Keep your faith strong and continue to pray and seek the Lord. May the peace and grace of God keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
