Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Carol who is struggling with an addiction to using his mobile phone. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention and strength to help him break free from this habit that is consuming his time and distracting him from more meaningful activities.
Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." We pray that Carol finds the strength and wisdom to resist the temptation of constantly checking his phone and instead uses his time wisely and productively.
Lord, help Carol to use his mobile phone in a way that honors You and benefits his life. Guide him to find balance and to prioritize his time according to Your will. May he seek You first in all things, as Matthew 6:33 reminds us, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
We trust in Your power to transform and renew Carol's mind, as Romans 12:2 encourages us, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
