We understand that you're going through a significant season of change and need God's guidance and provision. Let's bring your requests before the Lord, aligning them with His will and His Word.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging "Jesus". It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6, Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Being a Believer it is important to continually trust in Jesus. Secondly let us discuss your requests before God.
Regarding the sale of your home, we pray that God's will be done. Remember that God cares about every detail of our lives. In Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus said: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this family and their home. We pray that if it is Your will for their home to sell quickly and at or near their asking price, that You would bring forth the right buyers and facilitate a smooth transaction. We ask that You would remove any obstacles that could delay the closing, and give them the patience and peace to trust in Your timing.
We also lift up the husband's employment. We pray for Your favor and protection over his job, and that You would provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Guide him in his career, and help him to be a witness for You in his workplace.
Lord, we also pray for their daughter's upcoming wedding. We ask that You would be at the center of their marriage, and that You would bless and guide their union. Help the family to focus on the joy of this occasion, and to trust in You for all the details.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding your daughter's wedding, we encourage you to focus on the spiritual significance of this union. In Matthew 19:6, Jesus said: "So then, they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." Pray for God to prepare your daughter and her future spouse for a lifelong commitment that honors Him.
Lastly, cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you. In 1 Peter 5:7, it says: "casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. In Proverbs 3:5-6, it says: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Stay strong in faith and continue to seek God's will in all things. We are here with you in prayer and support.
