Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of our anonymous friend who is experiencing mental and emotional upset. Lord, you are the great healer and restorer of our minds and emotions. We ask that you would bring healing and peace to our friend's troubled heart and mind.
Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:7 that your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We pray that you would pour out your peace upon our friend, calming their anxious thoughts and bringing clarity to their mind. Help them to think and function clearly and well today.
In Psalm 34:17, it says that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We ask that you would draw near to our friend in their time of distress and bring comfort to their soul. Heal any wounds or hurts that may be causing this emotional upset, and fill them with your love and joy.
Lord, we know that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think . We trust in your power and love to bring healing and restoration to our friend's mental and emotional well-being. May they experience your presence and peace in a tangible way today.
We thank you, Father, for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness to answer. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
