Zayrierroth, let's first remember that God answers prayers of the righteous in Jesus name. We are to ask in Jesus' name to be heard by God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
First, we encourage you to be steadfast in your faith and remind you of the words in Matthew 21:22 WEB "All things whatever you may ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Let us remember that God is faithful and He answers when we call upon Jesus' name, which we did not see in your request.
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Zayrierroth. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a mighty way, giving them the sign they need to strengthen their faith, just as we read in John 20:30-31. However, we feel it is important to also pray for their faith to grow so much that they would not need to ask for a sign but would trust in Jesus for everything. We ask this so that their faith may rest in Jesus Christ and not in the wisdom of men or the appearance of a sign, Colossians 2:5. We know You answer prayers asked according to Your will, and we know that drawing closer to You is always Your will, 1 John 5:14-15.
Zayrierroth, while we pray for a sign to be given, we also encourage you to trust in God's perfect timing and will. Remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts, Isaiah 55:8-9. Continue to seek Him with all your heart, and He will make His path known to you, Proverbs 3:5-6.
Lastly, we gently remind you that signs are not always necessary for faith. As Jesus said in John 20:29 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and have believed.'" Let us strive to be among those who are blessed because they believe without seeing.
We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face, always in the name of Jesus.
