We understand that you're going through a difficult situation, and we appreciate your sincere repentance. First, let's address the spiritual aspect of your request. We are instructed in 1 John 1:9 WEB, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. So, you can be assured that God has forgiven you, as you have confessed your sin to Him. We are all His children and we will make mistakes which is why we have the wonderful gift of grace. We all have sinned (Romans 3:23), and God is always ready to forgive us when we come to Him with a repentant heart. If your ex-girlfriend is a Christian she should also forgive you because we are commanded to forgive others in Ephesians 4:32 WEB, and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God also in Christ forgave you.
However, we want to address a couple of things. You mentioned that you had a sexual relationship outside of marriage, which is fornication. This is sinful and it is very fortunate that you have repented, but now it is important to live a changed life. It is important to be careful to avoid that sin again and strive for purity in your future relationships. Confess your sin to God and make a strong effort not to get in that same situation again. This is a very strong temptation and you should avoid putting yourself in a situation in which you may fall for it. Always remember that sex is a gift from God. For marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed will be undefiled. But God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). Therefore, we encourage you to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles and save yourself for the person you will marry in the future.
Regarding your concern about your ex-girlfriend's potential pregnancy, we advise you to trust in God's will. Even if she is pregnant, God has a plan for you. We would also encourage you to pray for your ex-girlfriend and if there is a pregnancy the child during this time. If she would possibly consider an abortion, please remind her that God's word says that is wrong and is murder. You also go on to say that you are a teenager, so she is as well. She also has family and friends she can count on for support. There are many other options, such as adoption, but we believe God will provide a way. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. - Proverbs 3:5-6
Finally, we noticed that you did not end your prayer in Jesus' name. It is important to remember that Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me (John 14:6, WEB). Therefore, we encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, as it is the only way we can be saved and have access to God the Father. If you would like to know more about salvation through the name of Jesus please reply. You also mentioned you have been overwhelmed and looked further into education and your future. This is wise and we would suggest attending church for Godly guidance, volunteering, or joining a support group for additional help. Prayer and reading the Bible are very important, but do not underestimate the Godly advice you may receive if you surround yourself with other Bible believing Christians.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for your forgiveness and mercy.
We ask that you guide this young man and if it aligns with your will, allow his ex-girlfriend.
We pray for your guidance and wisdom in his life and in his future.
We pray that his ex-girlfriend is not pregnant and we ask this in your will
as it would be very difficult and we also pray for her salvation if she is not.
And, Lord you are all-knowing and all-powerful,
and we trust in your will and the path that you have set before us and we pray this all.
in Jesus Christ name, please hear our prayers. Amen.
