We understand that you're seeking more hours at your workplace and have specific days off and therefore need a job that meets your needs and schedule. We'll pray for God's provision and favor in your life. Firstly, let's remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our work schedule. It is good that you are asking for more work hours, but we should not worry about these things. Also, we should ask in Jesus' name. As it is written,
"Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:25-33 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of more working hours. You know the details of the schedule they need and desire. We pray that You open the doors for them to work from 2 to 10, and pick up more shifts as they are available. You see their financial need, and You are their provider. Give them favor in the eyes of their superiors, and let them shine with skills and proficiency. Lord, You see their heart to learn and grow; satisfy their desire and teach them in Your ways. Help them to be a light in their workplace, reflecting Your glory. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
In the meantime, continue to trust God and believe that He is working behind the scenes.
