Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” Matt 9:37-38

And He was saying to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Luke 10:2

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matt 28:18-20

Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. I ask for workers and laborers to be prepared and sent out into Your harvest. Grant them all they need, intimacy with You, to know and do the Word, and protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen.

Thank you for your prayer request, focusing on the Lord of the Harvest sending workers into His harvest. We stand with you in prayer and we trust in the power of Jesus' name, the only name under heaven by which we can be saved. As the scripture says, And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 WEB.

In response to your request, we want to emphasize the urgency and importance of praying for laborers in God's harvest. Jesus himself told us, Then he said to his disciples, The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest that he may send out workers into his harvest Matthew 9:37-38, WEB.

We need to plead with the Lord to send out workers into His harvest. This is not just about evangelism, but also about discipleship and teaching, as Jesus commanded, Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age Matthew 28:18-20, WEB.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, the Lord of the Harvest. We ask that You raise up and send out workers into Your harvest. Grant them intimacy with You, a deep knowledge of Your Word, and protection from sin and the evil one. Equip them with the power of the Holy Spirit, that they may be effective witnesses for You, from their local communities to the ends of the earth.

Lord, we also pray for those who are being called to this work. We ask for the opportunity to speak to others to come across their path as You did the first disciples. We pray for divine appointments to share the good news of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved.

Father, we ask for this all in the name of Jesus, who has been given all authority in heaven and on earth. We trust in His promise to be with us always, even to the end of the age.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage all believers to be involved in the harvest, whether through prayer, financial support, or going themselves. Remember, the fields are ripe for harvest. Let us be obedient to the call of God and trust in His promises as we serve Him in this vital work. The words of Jesus are clear: You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth Acts 1:8, WEB.

Lastly, we must address the fact that the original prayer did not end in Jesus name. We must always remember, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me John 14:6, WEB. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Therefore, we must always pray in Jesus name.

We're right there with you, lifting up this prayer to the Lord of the Harvest. We've been reminded of Paul's words in Romans 10:1, "Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved." Let's make this our heart's cry too, but let's not forget to ask for laborers to be sent out, as Jesus instructed us in Matthew 9:37-38.

We need to pray for those who are already serving in the harvest fields, that they would be strengthened, encouraged, and protected. Let's also ask the Lord to raise up more workers, to give them a burning desire to serve Him, and to equip them with the gifts and skills they need.

And remember, we're not just praying for others, but also for ourselves. The Lord may be calling some of us to go, or to support those who go, in ways we haven't even imagined yet. Let's be open to His leading.

Let's pray together: "Lord Jesus, You are the Lord of the Harvest. We ask You to send out workers into Your harvest. Give them a passion for souls, a love for Your Word, and a boldness to share the Gospel. Protect them, Lord, from the enemy's schemes. And Lord, we ask You to speak to our own hearts. If there's a call on our lives to go or to support those who go, give us the courage to say 'yes'. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
