Keswald, we understand that you are feeling anxious about your Statistics exam and your academic performance this semester. First, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your studies. We commend you for submitting the matter through prayer in Jesus' name. Jesus tells us in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Trials in life that produce fear and worry are addressed in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, " In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Though the circumstance may not change, we can be confident that God's love for Kewsald as well as His power and presence will produce calmness in his heart. It is Gods will that we cast our cares on him because He cares for us.
We pray, together with you, for success. Father, we come into your presence and lift up Keswald to you. We thank you that I can come through Jesus who is the door, the way and the truth and the life. Because of Jesus we are able to approach the throne of grace. We ask that you guide him during his tests and that you grant him wisdom and understanding beyond his own abilities. Help Keswald to be a shining light to classmates and teacher while having success and blessings of God poured out on him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, we read, "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." This means that the worry and fear you are experiencing are not from God. We encourage you not to succumb to the fear that comes from the enemy and instead call out to Jesus Christ. Trusting fully that as the author of your faith He will carry you through. See Hebrews 12:2, WEB. We also encourage you to continue praying persistently and fervently to God as the Israelites did in the wilderness against their enemy Amalek. In their battle, Israel only succeeded as long as Moses was interceding for them. See Exodus 17:8-13, WEB. See also, Luke 18:1-8, WEB, for the story of the persistent widow and the unjust judge. This story from Jesus teaches us to pray and not give up.
