We understand your concern for your father and your desire to travel safely. In times like these, we turn to God, our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).
Firstly, we want to remind you that we have access to God only through the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Shadowar. We ask that You would grant them favor to leave early tomorrow so that they may visit their father in the hospital. We know that You are sovereign over all things, including the weather, and we ask that You would hold back the storms until Shadowar is safe at home.
Lord, we also pray for Shadowar's father, that Your healing power would be upon him, and that Your will be done in his life. We ask that You would grant Shadowar peace and protection as they travel, for You are the one who sustains them with Your victorious right hand (Isaiah 41:10, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you, Shadowar, to meditate on God's promises and to trust in Him. Remember, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
