Let us come together in prayer for your wife, trusting in the power of God to touch her heart and draw her to Himself. It is crucial that we remember Jesus' words in John 6:44 (WEB), "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day."
Firstly, we must acknowledge that faith is a gift from God, and it is only through the drawing of the Holy Spirit that your wife will come to know Him intimately. We should pray fervently, but we must also recognize that this is a spiritual battle that cannot be won through our efforts alone. 2 Chronicles 20:15 (WEB) provides wisdom that the battle is not ours, but God's.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the wife of this dear believer. Lord, we ask that You soften her heart and draw her to Yourself. Grant her the gift of faith and reveal Your love to her in a tangible way. Send the Holy Spirit to convict her of sin and guide her into all truth.
We stand against any spiritual strongholds that may be hindering her from knowing You. We pray, Father, that You would open her eyes to see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For it is written in 2 Corinthians 4:6 (WEB), 'For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the one who has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.'
Lord, we also pray for her husband, that You would give him the wisdom and grace to love his wife as You love the church. Help him to be a reflection of Your love and patience, that his life may be a testimony to Your faithfulness. We encourage him to love her as described in Ephesians 5:25 (WEB) where it says "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue to live out your faith authentically before your wife. Let her see the love of Christ in you, and trust that God is at work in her life. Be patient, be loving, and be faithful in prayer. 1 Peter 3:1-2 (WEB) provides specific counsel for husbands in your situation. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Therefore, it is important to pray in Jesus name or Christ. This is the only way to salvation. There is no other name by which we can be saved.
