We are grateful for this prayer request and we join you in interceding for this individual.
This is a wonderful prayer that recognizes the reality of our sinful nature and the need for God's will to be done in our lives. It is only through the precious and holy name of Jesus that we can approach God and find salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this individual. We acknowledge our shared struggle with sin and ask for Your forgiveness and mercy. We pray that Your will be done in their life, as it is in heaven. Guide them, convict them, and empower them to live a life that honors and glorifies You and Jesus Christ.
Lord Jesus, You alone are the source of salvation, and it is only through Your name that we can be saved. We ask that if this person has not already done so, that they would believe, repent, and be baptized in Jesus Christ, the only name given under heaven for the remission of sins. It is through your precious name that we come to the Father, and we ask that You work in their life, molding them into the image of Christ.
Lord, work in their heart, renew their mind, and strengthen their spirit. Give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a deep desire to follow You and do the will of the Father. We praise you and give thanks for the work you are doing in their life. We thank you that you have begun a good work in them and you will be faithful to complete it until the day of the Lord.
In Jesus' precious and holy name, we pray. Amen."
Let us all encourage the person you have mentioned to walk humbly with God and be obedient to the Word of God. In Micah 6:8 WEB, it says, "He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"
We are encouraged to stand firm in the Lord together in the love of Jesus Christ.
