We understand that you're going through a challenging time, dealing with health issues, anxiety, and exhaustion, all while seeking new employment. We commend you for seeking God's will in this situation and we stand with you in prayer.
Firstly, we remind you of God's promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working everything out for your good, even in this difficult time.
Regarding your resignation, ensure you are fulfilling your current work commitments in a way that honors God. As it says in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."
Concerning anxiety, Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33-34, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient." Trust in God to provide for your needs, one day at a time.
We also encourage you to pray specifically and with faith about your job. We pray for God's guidance. As we read in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
"Father, we lift up our brother/sister to you, asking for your healing touch on his/her body and mind. Guide him/her to a new job where he/she can serve you and be a blessing to others, you know the financial needs, you know the anxiety, you know our brother/sister is exhausted, has a lot of expenses, and would like to be at rest and enjoying their work once again. We trust in your promise to provide for our needs. Give him/her a new opportunity to bring glory to your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Finally, we applaud you for praying in Jesus' name. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only by His name that we have access to God, and it is only by His name and believing in him, that we can be saved.
