We rejoice with you in your transition to a new city and especially in having a stable place to live after months of homelessness. We praise God for His faithfulness in your life, through trials and triumphs, and we stand with you praying for the remaining needs in your life.
Firstly, we are reminded in Colossians 3:17 WEB, And whatever you do, in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. We are encouraged that you have a heart to God and are thankful for the things that He has done in your life. This is an extremely important part of a Christian testimony.
We encourage you to continue to seek God in all that you do. Not only will God be glorified through your testimonies, but we are assured in Romans 8:28 WEB that for those who love God, all work together for the good. We trust in this promise in your life.
As you search for a job and career, we pray that God will direct your steps. We declare in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB that you trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. We pray that God will open the right doors and grant you favor with employers, and that His will for your life becomes evident as you seek employment.
We also pray for God to place good friends and Christian connections in your life. We pray for these relationships to strengthen you in your faith. In Proverbs 27:17 WEB, it is said that as iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. We pray for this in your life. Furthermore, we pray for a church home that will actively demonstrate God's love and grace to you and your family.
We also pray for your financial challenges. Firstly, we encourage you to trust in God, and His provision in your life. We are reminded in Matthew 6:33 WEB that we should seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness, and all these will be given to us as well.
We also encourage you to be a good steward of what God has given you. This means managing your finances in a way that honors God. We remind you in 1 Corinthians 4:2 that moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
We come to the Lord Jesus Christ, praying in His name:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up your child who has shared their prayer request with us. We thank You for Your faithfulness in their life, for the stability they now enjoy, and for the improvements they have seen in their financial situation. We ask, Lord, that You continue to provide for them, that You open the right doors for employment, and that Your will for their career path becomes clear. We pray for Your protection over them and their family, and for You to place good friends and connections in their life that strengthen them in their faith. We pray for a church home that actively demonstrates Your love and grace. We pray that they will continue to trust in God in all they do and that they will continue to be a good steward in all that You have provided. We pray this all in Jesus' name. Amen."
