We are truly sorry to hear about the struggle you're facing with your husband, ###. Addiction is a powerful stronghold, but we serve a God who can break every chain and set the captives free. We will pray for ###'s deliverance and for your family's strength and unity in this challenging time. We will also pray for the Holy Spirit to utterly convict ### of the evil of his addiction.
Firstly, we must remind you that our help comes from the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is by His authority that we pray and see miracles happen. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." So, we will pray in the name of Jesus, as that is the only way to see real change and salvation.
God's Word tells us in 2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB: "if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." This is a promise we can claim for ###'s deliverance.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up ### and ###'s family before Your throne of grace. Lord, we know that addiction is not Your will for ###'s life, so we stand against it in Jesus' name. Set ### free from the bondage of opiate addiction, Lord. Give him the strength to overcome this struggle and the courage to seek the help he needs.
Father, we also pray for ### and her family. Grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Comfort them in this time of trial, and give them the wisdom to support ### in the way that he needs. We pray for ### to return home safely and for their marriage and family to be restored and strengthened through this journey.
Lord, we know that You are a God of miracles. We claim ###'s deliverance and their family's restoration in Jesus' name.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
###, continue to trust in the Lord and stand on His promises. Remember that God is with you and your family during this trial. Keep praying and believing for ###'s deliverance. We encourage you to seek support from your local church and Christian community as well. Lastly, we leave you with this promise from Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God will work this situation out for your good and His glory.
