Streoldell, we join you in prayer for a godly spouse, and we are encouraged by your desire to seek a partner that honors God. We stand on the promise in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of seeking God's will in this process. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." As you seek a godly spouse, be in constant prayer and communion with God, asking for His guidance and wisdom.
We also encourage you to consider the qualities that a godly spouse should possess. Paul, in his letter to the Ephesians, outlines the roles of husbands and wives. Wives are to submit to their husbands as to the Lord, and husbands are to love their wives just as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it (Ephesians 5:22-25). Therefore, look for someone who demonstrates a love for God, a commitment to His word, and a heart for serving others.
Remember, as you seek a godly spouse, it is also important to examine your own life and ensure that you are exhibiting the same godly qualities. Ask yourself if you are being the kind of person that a godly spouse would be attracted to.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the sanctity of marriage. Hebrews 13:4 tells us, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." As you prepare for marriage, commit to maintaining purity and fleeing from sexual immorality.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up ### and their desire for a godly spouse. Lord, we ask that You guide them in this process, giving them wisdom and discernment as they seek Your will. Help them to delight in You, Lord, and grant them the desires of their heart as they commit their ways to You.
Father, we ask that You prepare ### for marriage, molding them into the person that You would have them to be. Help them to exhibit the qualities of a godly spouse, and bring someone into their life who also exhibits those same qualities.
We ask all these things In Jesus name the only name by which we can be saved. For it is only by his name that we have access to God. For there is no other name under heaven given to men whereby we must be saved.

God, thank You for loving, saving, and forgiving me. I ask You in Jesus name embrace and work on me. Bless me. Fix me. Transform and renew my mind through Your Word. Purify, cleanse, refine, sanctify, and perfect me as Christ desires for me to be. Make me a vessel of honor that is fit for the Master’s use. Rain down righteousness from heaven upon me. Grant me the spiritual strength and determination to fulfill my God given purpose here on earth. God may You be pleased and glorified in my life and with my life. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
