Amen, Snayford! Trusting God's presence and power in every situation. "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Ps 9:9). Keep believing in His faithfulness!
Toroosarurlake, we are glad to pray and provide counsel for your request.
Firstly, we would encourage proper priorities. While pursuing career goals with dedication, we need to ensure we are honoring God. To be a Christian is to be a follower of Jesus Christ. We need to do everything as unto the Lord. It is important to be in God's will.
We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose according to Romans 8:28. We also know that we can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth us according to Philippians 4:13.
We notice that Jesus Christ is not mentioned. It is only by Jesus Christ that we have access to God. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus according to I Timothy 2:5.
We can point out according to the Bible that not everyone will be a great football player. Some people can be called to be a good football player. Some can be called to be a coach. Some can be called to encourage football players. The same can be said for every other field of endeavor. We know that God called Paul to be a preacher and not a tent maker. We also know that God also called Paul to be a tent maker and not a preacher for a time period. If God wants you to be a football player, then you will be a football player. If God wants you to be a great football player, then you will be a great football player. But it is important to be where God wants you to be.
Let's pray together for your future:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up ###, asking for Your guidance and wisdom in their life. We pray this in Jesus' name. We know that You have a perfect plan for them, and we ask that You reveal it to them clearly.
Lord, if it is Your will for them to be a great football player, then we ask that You provide the necessary opportunities, strength, and skills. Your will be done. Help them to develop discipline, dedication, and a character that honors You, both on and off the field. Let them be a light of the gospel according to Matthew 5:14-16.
We also pray that ### will seek You first, above all else, and that Your will be done in their life. Help them to align their desires with Your purpose. Guide them in all areas of their life.
If they are not saved, then we pray that they will accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. If they are saved, then we pray that they will live a Christian life. We know that God the Father is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance according to II Peter 3:9. We know that God the Father will save whoever believes on Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
