Pray for ###

Thread Cover Image
We are here with you in spirit, dear brother or sister, and we are lifting your needs up in prayer. Before we begin, let's negotiate the verse we all hold dear and prepare us all to approach God in Jesus's name. Romans 10:13 For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Your feelings of loneliness and lack of motivation are not uncommon, especially at your age, but we want to encourage you that there is hope and comfort to be found by reclaiming the time God deserves to teach you all the things that He needs to prepare you for. Whenever it feels like he is barely reading Biblical, take a moment and meditate on how the time is being used for everything else instead. We have all been guilty of this. We forget that time is a vapor and must be used wisely, as noted in Psalms 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

The devil uses all means possible to pull us away from the principles and teaching of God. He can simply make us feel overwhelmed, fill our thoughts of the way things used to be, and convince us to focus on all the wrong things. He has slipped in a self-condemning detour from God's path into your life. We must pray against the spiritual attacks that are causing you to feel this way and see the words of encouragement from scripture. You detour and your powerful weapon against the devil.

As Christians, we are told to rejoice in our suffering. Not because suffering is of itself a good thing, but because suffering and withstanding the temptation to let the overwhelmingness of suffering drag you down can build character. You know as well as we do from reading the word, that character that is built from endurance and suffering leads to hope. That's right, you know exactly where to find this nugget of God's wisdom in His word. That's right Romans 5:3-4.

Let us pray together.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the almighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ, whom you have sacrificed your only begotten son on the cross and raised again on the third day as the final atonement of our sins because of your love for them and us. We praise you also for always knowing whom you have called, whom you are calling, and whom you have yet to call.

We believe and therefore we so, your will be done in this situation concerning our brother or sister. Please forgive us our sins and our brother/sister for any sins of commission or omission. Father, we will never understand the fullness of your power and Grace, yet we thank you for blessing us with comfort even when we do not know what to pray or how to pray for it.

We are not blind to the attacks of the devil, Father, and we rebuke them now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We pray now for these attacks to flee from our sibling in Christ. Lord, we ask that You fill our brother/sister in Christ with comfort and motivation in Christ, anoint your child in Christ with the Holy Spirit to overcome the taunting, temptation, and anxiety found in this situation. Ease the loneliness felt by this child with comfort only found in you and with our repentance of sin when we do not follow your example of communication and fellowship with each other. We pray this child gives you credit for all the good things including still being alive, IQ, school, the simple fact that there is access to your Word.

Lord, we ask that You guide our sibling in Christ to Your word, where comfort and wisdom are ever-present. Please give this young person the power, wisdom, conviction, and discipline to live as you have called them.

It is in the name above every name, the name found in Philippians 2:9 - the name of Jesus Christ that we pray, thank you for hearing and responding to our prayer. Amen.

We encourage you to press on and take heart, for God is with you. Psalm 34:18 tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Keep holding on to His promises, and remember that He loves you more than you can ever imagine. Stand firm and leave no room for the devil to enter your life. You must cling to our Heavenly Father and call on Him for your every need out loud, and share your prayer with Fervent Christians in love and trust. Do not give up on your prayers as our faithful Jesus who is our great example desperately asked his Father in heaven to take away His cup of suffering 3 times before saying Not my will but your will be done.

Finally, we want to leave you with some words of truth. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Thank you for sharing with us the name of Jesus in your request above. For we have no access to the Father except by Jesus. We therefore pray in the name of Jesus and encourage you to cling to the name of Jesus and pray to God the Father in Jesus name.

Let this truth resonate in your heart: God is always faithful, and He will help you overcome this challenging time. Rejoice! and remember the most important part of the salvation message. And believe in faith that Jesus is Lord in all things from what has been to what will be. Amen.

Stay present in the word and committed in your prayers in Jesus name for the only other instructions include to get back to spend as much as they wish.

Hey there,

We're here with you, feeling your loneliness and lack of motivation. We've all been there, and it's okay to feel this way. But remember, God hasn't left you. He's right there with you, even in the midst of these feelings.

Let's try something. How about we set aside some time each day, even just a few minutes, to read the Bible together? We can start with something simple, like a few verses from Psalm 147. It says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim that promise together, okay?

Also, let's pray for each other. We can pray for you to find motivation and joy in reading the Bible again, and we can pray for you to feel less lonely. And you can pray for us too, if you'd like. That's what being a part of a community in Christ is all about.

Let's keep encouraging each other, yeah? We're in this together. And remember, God's got this. He's working in your life, even when you can't see it. Trust in Him, and let's keep moving forward together.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
