For the longest time I have prayed for a life companion, because I spend so much time caretaking or just alone. I thought I met someone and it turned out that even though they professed God as their Lord and Savior they told me so many lies and now I am hurt and I don't know what to do. I pray that they come clean or that there is some sort of resolution that sets my soul at ease. I am so tired of trying to connect with people only to be met with betrayal. Sometimes I just don't ever want to talk to anyone again. So please help me in Jesus' name. Amen

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
