We are deeply saddened to hear about ###'s struggle with tuberculosis, and we will stand with you in prayer, ###. In times of illness, we turn to the Great Physician, our Lord Jesus Christ, who has the power to heal and restore.
Let us remember the words of the Psalmist: "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases" (Psalm 103:2-3 WEB). God's desire is for us to be in good health, even as our souls prosper (3 John 1:2 WEB).
However, we also recognize that sometimes God allows illnesses for His greater purposes, to draw us closer to Him and to bring glory to His name. In such times, we must trust in His sovereign will and seek His strength to endure. As it is written, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up ### to You, seeking Your healing touch upon her body. We pray that You would deliver her from this disease and restore her to full health. We trust in Your power and goodness, knowing that nothing is impossible for You.
If it is Your will that she continues to bear this illness, we pray that You would give her the strength to endure, and that she would draw closer to You in this time. Use this trial to bring glory to Your name and to bring ### and her family closer to You.
We also pray for ###, that You would comfort her and give her peace, knowing that her sister is in Your hands. Help her to trust in You and to support her sister in this time of need.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, ###, we want to encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and to draw near to Him. If you haven't already, we urge you to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and can experience the fullness of His love and grace.
