Please pray for my dad to be delivered from the spirit of self-righteousness, hatred, bitterness, self-pity. Pray that he learns that God has loved us and we need to extend that love to others. Please pray that he stops condemning and preaching wrong and hateful messages to our family. Pray that he uses his time constructively. Pray that he treats my mom and others with kindness, love, and respect. Pray for his mental health and physical health to improve. Pray that in the name of Jesus all the strongholds and curses from his past are broken forever. Pray that we see Jesus work a miracle in his heart. We understand your concern for your father and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for his life. Let us come together in the name of Jesus and intercede on his behalf.

Firstly, we address the spirit of self-righteousness, hatred, bitterness, and self-pity that has taken root in your father's heart. We pray according to 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (WEB), "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." We ask God to demolish these strongholds and renew his mind in Christ Jesus.

We pray that your father will come to understand the depth of God's love for him and that he will be compelled to share that love with others. As it is written in 1 John 4:19 (WEB), "We love Him, because He first loved us." We ask God to fill your father with His love, so that he may extend love, kindness, and respect to your mother and to the rest of the family.

We rebuke the spirit of condemnation and wrongful preaching. We pray that your father's words will be seasoned with salt, and be gracious, as Colossians 4:6 (WEB) teaches us. We ask God to guide his words and actions, so that they may reflect the fruits of the Spirit, which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB).

We lift up your father's mental and physical health to God, asking for healing and improvement. We believe that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).

Finally, we claim the promise of 2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB), which says, "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." We pray that your father will experience this transformation, that all strongholds and curses from his past will be broken, and that he will become a true blessing in the name of Jesus.

We encourage you to continue praying and believing, for the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16 WEB). Always remember the power of forgiveness, as Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:14-15 (WEB), "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
