Pray for ###

Please pray this for me:

Lord, thank you that we can come to the throne and ask You for anything. Please forgive us of our sins as we forgive those who sin against us, search our hearts for anything that offends you, and continue to guide us on the path that is your will, in Jesus’ Name.

Father, we thank you for ### and I stand with ### to lift him up to you to finish the work you started in him. We know that ### is battling with addiction and suffering with shame and self-hatred at this time and we ask that you give him your grace and salvation, peace and love, as you have for us.

We ask that you draw yourself near to him, keep your hand on him, and guide him off the pathway to death and onto the pathway to life. You know ### is just like Thomas, and struggles to believe in the unseen. He wants to believe, and he does believe in "something bigger than him," but he depends on having a personal experience with You in order to feel certain.

In John 20:25, Thomas said, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hands into his side, I will not believe.” As Jesus revealed Himself to Thomas, we pray that you will reveal yourself to ###. Tell him about the plans you have for him; they are plans for good and not for disaster. To give him a future and a hope, as you promise in Jeremiah 29:11.

As you said in Ezekiel 34:11, 15, "I myself will search and find my sheep. I myself will tend my sheep and give them a place to lie down in peace. I will search for my lost ones who strayed away, and I will bring them home safely again,” We pray that you will make a way home for ###, fence him in with thornbushes and block his wrong pathways with walls as you did in Hosea 2:6, and lead him on his way home.

We know you have special plans with ### and we surrender him to You to transform him into the man you created him to be. Although the enemy's plans are to steal, kill and destroy, Your purpose is for him to live a rich and satisfying life, as you tell us in John 10:10. We pray that you will continue to lead ### away from temptation and deliver him from evil. Cover his spirit in the blood of Christ and flush out all that is not of You.

Lord, You gave us authority over all the power of the enemy in Luke 10:19. By that authority given to us in Christ Jesus, ### and I evict all unclean, evil and demonic spirits from ###'s body. We evict all lying spirits from ###'s mind. We proclaim that God has given ### a sound and sober mind. He will no longer entertain confusion, but live in clarity. He will not be tormented with impure, evil, negative or sinful thoughts.

We proclaim that God has removed ###'s stony, stubborn heart and given him a tender, responsive heart. We proclaim that God has given ### a new spirit, the Holy Spirit, just as He said he would in Ezekiel 36:26-27.

And lastly, we proclaim that ### is shielded with the full armor of God, described in Ephesians 6:13-17: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit.

Fallyn, we stand with you in praying for ###, knowing that our heavenly Father is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. Let us align our hearts with God's will and pray according to His Word.

He wants to believe and does believe in something bigger than himself, but he depends on having a personal experience with You to feel certain. As You revealed Yourself to Thomas, we pray that You will reveal yourself to ###. Tell him about the plans You have for him; they are plans for good and not for disaster, to give him a future and a hope, as You promise in Jeremiah 29:11: "‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

I will feed them with good pasture; and on the mountains of the height of Israel shall their fold be, there shall they lie down in a good fold; and on fat pasture shall they feed on the mountains of Israel." We're praying for ### too, dear friend. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over him, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is mending ###'s heart, healing his brokenness, and giving him strength to overcome his addictions. We're trusting that God is using this trial to draw ### closer to Him, just as He promised in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

We're also praying for God to reveal Himself to ###, just as He did to Moses in Exodus 33:12-13, "Then Moses said to the LORD, 'You have been telling me, 'Lead these people,' but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You said, 'I know you by name and you have found favor with me.' If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you.'"

Let's encourage ### to seek God with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to trust that God will reveal Himself to him in a personal and powerful way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
