Beloved of All
Please pray for my son. He is homeless and is not excepting treatment. He struggles with mental illness and addiction. He's trying to make it on his own but without transportation or job it's tough. He's lonely and sad. Please God take him into your hands. Lead him in the right direction. We leave him at your feet Lord. Thank you in advance. In JESUS name I pray. Amen

We are deeply touched by your concern for your ### and we join you in lifting him up to our merciful Heavenly Father. It is indeed in Jesus' name that we find hope and healing, as it is written, "In none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to intercede for this beloved ###. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing, the pain of homelessness, the grip of addiction, and the turmoil of mental illness. We ask, Jesus, that You wrap Your loving arms around him, just as You did with the lost sheep, bringing him back into the safety of Your fold (Luke 15:3-6).

Father, we pray for a healing touch on his mind and body. Break the chains of addiction, Lord, and guide him to accept the help and treatment he needs (Isaiah 61:1). We ask that You open doors for him, providing opportunities for stable work and safe shelter.

Lord Jesus, you understand the depths of loneliness and sadness. Comfort him, show him that he is not alone, and that Your love is unfailing (Psalm 34:18). Surround him with people who will show him kindness and compassion, leading him in the right direction.

We pray for wisdom and discernment for him, that he may seek You first, above all things (Matthew 6:33). We leave him at Your feet, Lord, trusting that Your will is best for his life. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Take heart, dear parent, for God loves your ### even more than you do. Trust in the Lord, and remember that He is faithful in all His promises (2 Corinthians 1:20). Continue to guide your ### with godly counsel, encouraging him to seek the Lord in all his ways (Proverbs 3:5-6). Together, we believe that God will lead him to a place of restoration and peace.

We pray for divine healing and deliverance in the mighty of Jesus. Luke 4:18 says Jesus came for the sick, brokenhearted, and to set all captives free. He came for us all and in His mighty name, we stand firm and ask that your ### be set free in the name of Jesus, amen.

Isaiah 61:3
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Commentary on this verse:
The prophets had the Holy Spirit of God at times, teaching them what to say, and causing them to say it; but Christ had the Spirit always, without measure, to qualify him, as man, for the work to which he was appointed. The poor are commonly best disposed to receive the gospel, Jas 2:5; and it is only likely to profit us when received with meekness. To such as are poor in spirit, Christ preached good tidings when he said, Blessed are the meek. Christ's satisfaction is accepted. By the dominion of sin in us, we are bound under the power of Satan; but the Son is ready, by his Spirit, to make us free; and then we shall be free indeed. Sin and Satan were to be destroyed; and Christ triumphed over them on his cross. But the children of men, who stand out against these offers, shall be dealt with as enemies. Christ was to be a Comforter, and so he is; he is sent to comfort all who mourn, and who seek to him, and not to the world, for comfort. He will do all this for his people, that they may abound in the fruits of righteousness, as the branches of God's planting. Neither the mercy of God, the atonement of Christ, nor the gospel of grace, profit the self-sufficient and proud. They must be humbled, and led to know their own character and wants, by the Holy Spirit, that they may see and feel their need of the sinner's Friend and Saviour. His doctrine contains glad tidings indeed to those who are humbled before God.

Our prayer:
Prayer for Isaiah 61:10 ►
“I greatly rejoice in the Lord, I exult in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation and wrapped me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom wears a turban and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.”

Praying through Isaiah 61:10

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your many gifts of pardon, peace, and purity, of faith, hope, and love. But above all, we bless and thank You for the greatest of all gifts, the person of Your dearly beloved Son. We are so thankful that He died to redeem us with His precious blood, that He lives forever to make intercession for us, and that He is coming back as our Bridegroom to take us to be with Him forever. Thank You, Lord, in Jesus' name, AMEN.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
