Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our nation of ### and its leadership. Lord, we pray for President ### and the decisions he is making that are affecting our country. We ask for Your divine intervention in the governance of ###. Your Word says in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness."
Father, we pray for wisdom, discernment, and righteousness to prevail in the hearts of our leaders. We ask that You open the eyes of the ### people to see the truth and to act in accordance with Your will. We pray against any actions that would lead our nation into unnecessary conflict or harm. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us that "The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord; He directs it like a watercourse wherever He pleases."
Lord, if it is Your will, we ask that You remove any leaders who are not acting in the best interest of the nation and replace them with those who will lead with integrity, justice, and a heart for the people. We pray for peace and stability in our country and for Your guidance in all matters of governance.
