We join with you, Robert, in lifting up young Christians under 18 who are using online services for fellowship. We pray that they find wise guidance and protection from bullies and isolation. Let us uphold them in prayer, asking that God provides a sense of community filled with Holy Spirit-led people.
Firstly, we are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:20 (WEB), "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." Even in online platforms, when young believers gather in Jesus' name, His presence is assured.
We pray, "Dear Heavenly Father, we bring before You the young Christians who are seeking fellowship online. In Jesus' name, we ask for Your divine protection over them. Shield them from bullies and let them find solace and comfort in Your love. Guide them to online communities where the Holy Spirit is actively working. Let them find wise mentors and friends who will encourage them in their faith. Help them to discern truth from falsehood, as John 4:1 reminds us, 'Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.'"
Robert, we encourage you to remind these young believers to be discerning and to test every spirit, as the apostle John advised. It's crucial for them to ensure that the fellowship they engage in is biblically sound and centered on Jesus Christ.
Moreover, let us pray that these young Christians grow in their faith and become lights in their generation. As 1 Timothy 4:12 (WEB) says, "Let no one despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity."
We pray, "Lord Jesus, help these young Christians to be examples to their peers. Let their light shine before others, that they may see their good works and glorify You, our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). In Your precious name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we commend you, Robert, for your concern and care for the younger generation. Keep upholding them in your prayers and encouraging them in their walks with Jesus Christ.
