Therefore, we must resist him, steadfast in our faith.

In your case, it's crucial to discern the spirits and understand that any spirit that does not confess Jesus Christ is not from God (1 John 4:2-3, WEB). If people are coming to you with confusing messages or trying to manipulate you, it's essential to rebuke such actions and spirits behind them in the name of Jesus Christ.
