Moreover, we should handle our finances as good stewards of what God has given us, seeking wisdom from God.

Regarding the currency itself, while we can understand the concern there are too many governments that are allowing currency that could not readily be exchanged worldwide or is soon to be discontinued, possibly causing a loss as some financial entities or countries will no longer take it as their accepted exchange rate. This is why currency makeup as well as the stability of its government greatly contributes to its value. The Bible explicitly tells us that no country or government is in control, but rather God himself raises them up and takes them down as he sees fit as he is the one allowing a nation to gain wealth. Wealth is not something gained by what kind of currency a person has or even for a nation, but by the hand and will of God.
Daniel 4:32 and you shall be driven from men; and they dwelling shall be with the animals of the field; you shall be made to eat grass as oxen; and seven times shall pass over you; until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will.
2 Chronicles 1:12 WEB Wisdom and knowledge is granted to you; and I will give you riches, and wealth, and honor, such as none of the kings have had who have been before you; neither shall there any after you have the like.

Let us pray together for your mother to trust completely in God, be a good steward of her finances, and have Godly wisdom in all her financial affairs such as putting her trust in God to provide her needs, and not in her money. She should also be in prayer for God to be in control of her beliefs in getting wealth and finances. We also pray that your mother knows Jesus Christ personally as the savior of her life. It is in his name we pray to God the father and the son for her personal needs, yet merely requesting the best USD exchange rate is not in line with the teachings of the Bible.
