We understand your concern for Vivek, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for his life and your relationship with him. Let us remember the parable of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11-32 (WEB), where the father patiently waits for his son's return and celebrates his homecoming.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to trust in the power of prayer and the Lord's ability to work in Vivek's life. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
However, we want to gently remind you that if Vivek has chosen to leave, it is important to respect his decisions and pray for his well-being rather than trying to forcefully bring him home. We should pray for his heart to change and for him to willingly return. As it is said in 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Vivek to You. Lord, we ask that You watch over him, protect him, and soften his heart. We pray that You would guide his steps and lead him back home, according to Your will. Please bring peace and comfort to Pimperadoc's heart, and help them to trust in Your timing and Your plan for Vivek's life.
We also pray that Pimperadoc will have the opportunity to share the love of Christ with Vivek and that both of their lives would be transformed by Your grace. We ask this all in Jesus' name, for it is in Him that we have access to You, Father. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to examine your own heart and motives. Ensure that your desire for Vivek's return is aligned with God's will and not merely your own wishes. Trust that God is working in both of your lives for His good and His glory.
