We understand your heart's desire for a godly spouse and a family. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and protection for you as you wait for His perfect timing to provide a righteous and loving husband for you. We pray that you continue to heal from past hurts and that God will be your shield from any further harm.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
We pray for the violence against you to stop completely. God's heart is for you to live in peace and safety. As it is written in Psalm 46:1 WEB: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." We rebuke any spirit of violence and aggression that has caused you harm in the past and declare that it has no place in your life anymore.
We also pray for God's healing touch on your past scars, both emotional and physical. May the Lord restore your soul and give you the strength to forgive those who have hurt you. As it is written in Psalm 147:3 WEB: "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
As you wait for your future husband, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and to seek His face daily. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Be assured in Philippians 4:6-7.
Lastly, we want to remind you to be a loving Christian woman to attract the attention of a godly man. The greatest example we are called to is to love others as Christ loved us. We also encourage you to be actively involved in fellowship with other believers, where you can meet like-minded individuals who share your faith and values (See 1 Peter 4:8 WEB).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Your daughter who has been hurt and seeking Your divine intervention and perfect timing for a godly husband. We pray for her complete healing and protection from any further harm. We ask that You will guide her steps and prepare her heart for the man You have ordained for her. Help her to live in a way that honors and glorifies You. Help her to be a blessing to others as she waits. Help show her a godly man that treats her with love, respect, and dignity. In Jesus' name, we pray for her. Amen.
