We understand that you are seeking prayer for your son Delston's football matches, and we are here to lift him up in prayer and provide some biblical perspective.
Firstly, it is wonderful that you have asked in Jesus' holy and mighty name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name we can be saved.
While it is natural to desire victory in competition, we must remember that God's will and His glory should be our ultimate goal. As it is written in First Corinthians 10:31 WEB: "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
We should pray for Delston and his team, not just for victory, but for their safety, their conduct, and their witness as children of God. We should pray that they would exhibit the fruits of the Spirit, which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, as mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23 WEB.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Delston and his football team. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in their matches. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
