We are truly sorry to hear about the cascade of trials you've been facing since last year. We will stand with you in prayer and trust God to bring you through this challenging time. Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 WEB.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ, as it is only by His name that we can approach God Most High Acts 4:11-12 WEB. If you have not already, submit your lives to Him, and trust in His saving grace.
We want to remind you of the importance of turning to God in these times, and not turning on each other. In times of stress, it's important to strengthen your relationship with the Lord and with each other, being gracious and kind to one another. Keep in mind:
1 Peter 5:7 WEB: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Continue to trust in God, and be patient for Him to answer your prayers and provide a place for you to stay. He is faithful and will provide according to His perfect will.
We understand that eviction can make finding a new home more challenging, but trust that God can open doors that seem impossible to open. Continue to seek Him and be patient. It's also crucial to be honest with potential landlords about your situation; honesty paves the way for blessings. Furthermore, be diligent in your search and do not give up. God blesses those who are persistent and patient.
Regarding the struggle with withdrawal from pain medication, we commend you for recognizing this as a challenge that requires prayer and support. Remember, God is able to deliver you from this temptation and will provide a way out. Continue to pray for strength to overcome the addiction and seek godly support. God says:
1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Lastly, we want to encourage you both to pursue God together as a family, and if you are not married, pray for a Godly marriage. Should you have a boyfriend or girlfriend but are not married, remember the importance of abstaining from fornication until marriage. God commands us to live holy lives and to only engage in sexual relations within the confines of marriage.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this family to You. Lord, You see their struggles and their needs. We pray for Your divine intervention in their lives. Provide for them a place to call home, and open doors for a stable income. Deliver them from the spirit of addiction, and grant them strength to overcome their challenges.
We also pray for their relationship, that it will be centered around You and Your principles. Guide them as they navigate this difficult time, and draw them closer to You and to each other.
Lord, we know You are a miracle-working God, and we trust in Your ability to turn their situation around. Touch the hearts of others to be a blessing to this family, and may Your name be glorified through their testimony.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
