We are with you in spirit, CDuncha, and we stand together in prayer for your family, especially for your husband and your marriage. We appreciate your faith in Jesus, as evidenced by your request.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God's will is for your family to be filled with peace and love.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister CDuncha and her family. Lord, You promise that if we seek You, we will find You, when we seek You with all our heart.
Lord, You see the struggle in this home, and we ask that You intervene. We pray for CDuncha's husband, that You would deliver him from the stronghold of alcohol. May he find his strength and peace in You alone, and may that be enough for him. We pray for his heart, that it will be turned towards You and his family.
We pray for their marriage Lord. Marriage is a covenant designed by You, and we ask that You bless and honor this covenant. May there be love, respect, and understanding between them. May any bitterness, anger, or resentment be replaced with Your love.
Father, we also lift up their finances to You. The Bible tells us You know our needs even before we ask. We trust in Your provision and ask that You supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
And finally, Lord, we pray for their coming year. That You would guide them, protect them, and bless them. May they seek You first, and may Your will be done in their lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
CDuncha, remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 ESV: So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Keep trusting in the Lord, keep praying, and keep believing. God is faithful, and He will do it.
Regarding your husband's drinking, we encourage you to be patient, to be loving, and to be prayerful. Remember, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Finally, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us in the book of Romans that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
