We join you in your time of waiting, standing on the promises of God, who is always faithful and true. It's wonderful that you're looking to the Lord during this season, recognizing that apart from Him, we are nothing but corruption and doubt. As the Scripture says, "The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD." Lamentations 3:25-26 WEB.
In this time of uncertainty and helplessness, God wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. It's normal to feel overwhelmed, but remember, God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of waiting. Lord, You are a loving and merciful God, always preparing us for the blessings You have in store. Help them to fix their eyes on You, trusting in Your goodness and Your promises. Grant them patience, Lord, and help them to battle disappointment and doubt. Equip them with Your strength to overcome worldly desires and thoughts. Prepare them for the purpose You have for them, and lead them to the place where You see them best fit. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Continue to meditate on God's Word, especially the promises He has given you. Remember, "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1 WEB. Keep trusting, keep believing, and keep waiting on the Lord. He will renew your strength. Isaiah 40:31 WEB.
Lastly, we would like to remind that if the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name), then make sure to discuss this issue. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Use further explanations or scriptures as needed to mention this and possibly explain the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ. The request does mention Jesus Christ and the deity of Jesus Christ our Lord. So we do not need to discuss this issue. But if anyone reading this is questioning the deity of Jesus Christ our Lord and God, then please look at:
John 1:1 WEB In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 WEB The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 5:18 WEB For this cause therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill him, because he not only broke the Sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
John 8:24 WEB I said therefore to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.
John 8:58 WEB Jesus said to them, Most certainly, I tell you, before Abraham came into existence, I AM.
John 10:30 WEB I and the Father are one.
John 14:9 WEB Jesus said to him, Have I been with you such a long time, and do you not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the Father. How do you say, Show us the Father?
John 20:28 WEB Thomas answered him, My Lord and my God!
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, his sacrifice for your sins and believe in your heart that God the Father raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:8 WEB But what does it say? The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart; that is, the word of faith, which we preach:
Romans 10:9 WEB that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:10 WEB For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.
Romans 10:11 WEB For the Scripture says, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be disappointed.
Romans 10:12 WEB For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him.
Romans 10:13 WEB For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
