We join with you in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray for his mighty hand to be upon you & your husband and for traveling mercies as you are on the move.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in the name of Jesus Christ and your public confession in your prayer request. This confession is the foundation of our faith.
To God, marriage is a profound mystery. Marriage is not to be taken lightly. It is to be a representation of Christ and his bride the Church. A wife is to be a suitable helper for her husband. We are called to flee from sexual immorality and pursue righteousness, faithfulness, love, and peace. Husband, remember the covenant you made before God and your wife. "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous." Hebrews 13:4 (WEB)
You would do well to meditate on Ephesians 5:22-33:
"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. 'For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.' This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly. Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."
We pray that God will give you both the strength and wisdom to uphold your marriage vows. We pray that any temptation or struggle with pornography or lust be overcome by the power of the Holy Spirit. We pray that your husband will remember his wedding vows. We pray for a miraculous intervention of Jesus Christ to stop your husband from doing something that goes against your marriage vows and the sanctity of marriage. May God grant him remorse and repentance from any wicked ways.
We pray for your continued growth in your relationship with God and each other. May your marriage be a light to the world, a testament to God's faithfulness and love. We pray that you will be filled with energy, love, and patience as you care for your family. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB)
May the peace of God be with you in Jesus' name.
