Thank you for bringing this request before us. We join with you in prayer for your brother's need for a new residence.
Firstly, we acknowledge the biblical principle that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our needs. As it says in Matthew 6:8, "For your Father knows what things you have need of before you ask him."
It is also important to note that God wants us to ask in Jesus' name. As it says in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother's need for a new residence. You know his circumstances and his disability. You know his income and his needs are legitimately before you. We ask that You provide him with an apartment that he can afford, a place where he can live comfortably and securely. We trust in Your provision and Your timing. Help him to trust in You and to have faith. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Encourage your brother with these words from Philippians 4:6: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
Remind him that God is faithful. Psalm 37:25: "I have been young, and now am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his children begging for bread."
Finally, ask your brother to consider his relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If your brother does not know Jesus Christ, encourage him to read the Gospel of John, seek out a Bible believing church and ask a pastor to explain the salvation message.
