Dhoyriurrath, we are truly sorry to hear about the struggle you're facing with your children and their father. We will pray and seek God's will with you in this challenging situation.
Firstly, we would like to remind you to look at parenting through a biblical lens. It is important that Christians do not take advantage of each other in courts of law or defraud each other. We can not control the other parties actions but it is important to act in a godly manner. As it says in 1 Corinthians 6:7, "Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?" It is important to turn the other cheek and keep the other parties best interest in mind.
It is important to address the nature of the relationship and to pray for God to work in it. We are instructed in 1 Corinthians 7:10-11, "But to the married I command, not I, but the Lord, that the wife not depart from her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife."
We lift up your situation to the Lord, asking for His intervention and guidance.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Dhoyriurrath and her children. Lord, You know the pain and struggle she is facing, and You see the injustice she is experiencing. We pray, Father, that You would intervene in this situation and bring resolution.
We ask, Lord, that You would soften the heart of the children's father, turning his heart to his children and to You. We pray that he would act in the best interest of the children, and that a godly resolution would be reached.
We also pray for Dhoyriurrath, that You would give her the strength and grace to endure this trial. Help her to rest in Your sovereignty and to trust in Your perfect plan for her and her children's lives. Guide her steps, Lord, and give her the wisdom to navigate this challenging situation.
If there is any element of this situation which is not pleasing to You, Father, we pray that You would convict the hearts of those involved and bring them to repentance.
Finally, Lord, we pray for the children. We ask that You would protect their hearts and minds, and that You would bring peace and stability to their lives. Help them to know Your love and to trust in You.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior.
Father, we also lift up this petition to you, and ask that you would draw Dhoyriurrath closer to you. We do not see anywhere in the request, the name of Jesus Christ mentioned. It is so important to acknowledge that there is salvation in no other name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved. If possible, we ask that you would have Dhoyriurrath to come to a saving knowledge of your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask that you would speak to her heart, and show her that you are the answer to her problems and sins.
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, Dhoyriurrath, for the Lord your God is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
