Pray for ### to be removed during ...

Pray for the current government to be removed during the next upcoming election as they had betrayed the country and its citizens by bringing foreigners into the country to take jobs, treating them as a priority with full-time permanent jobs, while citizens are often forced to work on contract jobs with inhumane working conditions. 8:30 am to 3 am without water and toilet breaks daily, and if they fall ill due to such working hours, they will be treated unfairly. When they complain, they are asked to leave. It is a sad thing that many jobs are filled with foreigners, and many citizens are treated unfairly and have their rights taken away. Pray that God will intervene to remove all these foreigners from the workforce. Even with the Skillsfuture course and other initiatives, it will be useless because companies favor foreigners over citizens and make citizens succumb to unfair employment treatment and even abuse until they end up in the hospital. Those companies will find reasons to intentionally make citizens unemployed as they could replace them with cheaper foreigners.

We understand your concern for the current situation in Singapore, and we will pray with you regarding the employment issues and the upcoming election. However, we must first address the heart as God sees it. The Bible tells us, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).

We must remember that God is in control, and He is the one who sets up and removes leaders (Daniel 2:21, WEB). Instead of focusing on the removal of foreigners, we should pray for God's will to be done and for justice and righteousness to prevail in Singapore.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You to lift up Singapore and its people to You. We pray for the upcoming election, that Your will be done. If it is in accordance with Your plan, we ask that You remove those leaders who have betrayed the trust of the people and have caused division and unfairness.

We pray for the employment situation, that You would intervene and bring about justice. We ask that You would provide jobs for those who need them and protect the rights of all workers, regardless of their nationality. Help us to remember that You love all people equally, and that we are to treat others as we would like to be treated (Matthew 7:12, WEB).

We pray for those who are suffering from unfair labor practices. May they find comfort and assistance in their time of need. We ask that You would heal those who are sick and provide for those who are unemployed.

We also pray for the hearts of the leaders and the people. Turn their hearts towards You, Lord Jesus. Help them to seek Your face and Your will for Singapore.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to trust in God and His plan for Singapore. Remember that our battles are spiritual, and our weapons are prayer and the Word of God. We should also pray for the salvation of those who are mistreating others, as they need Jesus just as much as anyone else does.

We notice that your prayer request does not mention Jesus Christ. It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB), and it is in His name that our prayers are effective (John 14:13-14, WEB). We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus and pray in His name.
