Let us first address the urgent need for employment for your niece. We understand that she has an interview tomorrow, and we will lift her up in prayer for God's favor and provision. However, we also need to address the spiritual and relational aspects of her situation.
Firstly, we must acknowledge the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God,
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this precious soul, in Jesus' name. She is in need of employment, and we ask that You would open the doors of opportunity for her tomorrow as she attends her interview. We pray that You would grant her favor in the sight of her potential employers and that they would see her skills, talents, and heart. We ask that You would provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory.
Lord, we also pray for her marital situation. We do not know the details of their separation, but we pray that if it is Your will, You would restore their marriage and bring healing and reconciliation. We pray that both their hearts would be turned towards You, and that they would seek You first in all things.
For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified in the brother. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy. (1 Corinthians 7:14 WEB)
Lastly, Lord, we pray for her spiritual well-being. We pray that she would come to know You more deeply and intimately, and that she would find her hope, strength, and provision in You alone. We pray that Your kingdom would come and that Your will would be done and her life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Now, let us also speak to her current situation. It is commendable that you are supporting her financially, but we must also encourage her to seek God's face and trust in Him for her provision. This is a difficult time, but it is also an opportunity for her to draw near to God and for God to work in her life.
As for her marital situation, we must always stand for God's design for marriage. The word of God says,
Because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously, yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. (Malachi 2:14 WEB)
Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate. (Matthew 19:6 WEB)
We encourage her to seek godly counsel and to pray for her marriage. If there has been any wrongdoing on her part, we encourage her to repent and seek forgiveness. If her husband has wronged her, we encourage her to forgive and to pray for him.
Lastly, we want to encourage her to seek God's will for her life. Perhaps this trial is an opportunity for her to realign her life with God's will. We pray that she would use this time to draw near to God and to seek His face.
