We understand that you are seeking prayer for the approval of a firearm permit and the related psychiatric test. Firstly, we want to acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ by ending the request acknowledging Jesus. This is excellent because it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is no other name by which we can be saved. As the scripture says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

In addressing your request, we must also address the issue of firearm permits from a biblical perspective. While the Bible does not explicitly discuss firearms, it does talk about the role of government and our submission to authority. Romans 13:1-2 WEB says, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment."

We should pray that God's will be done in this situation and that whatever the outcome, it will serve His purposes. We also pray for safety and wisdom in the use of firearms, remembering that as believers, our ultimate trust is in God, not in weapons. As it says in Psalm 20:7 WEB, "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of Yahweh our God."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up this person seeking a firearm permit. We pray for Your will to be done in this situation. If it is Your will that this permit be granted, we ask for favor and a smooth process. We also pray for wisdom and safety in the handling of firearms, remembering that our ultimate trust is in You. Help this person to live a life that honors You by loving you with all their heart, all their mind, all their soul and all their strength, and their neighbor as themselves. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We also encourage you to continue to walk in faith, trusting in God's plan for your life. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. As it is said in Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB, "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' says Yahweh. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.'"

Praying for you in Jesus. Wouldn’t you rather have the ability to walk right through the middle of firearm activity without getting shot or harmed in any way? Psalms 91 as well as the rest of Jesus’ Word gives us that faith my friend. Thank You, Praise You Lord Jesus for being my Habitation, my Dwelling Place, for Hiding me under the shadow of Your Wings, for making me invisible unto those who would seek to do me harm yet remembered by those who need to know You, for Allowing no weapon formed against me to prosper, for Giving me Your strength which is much Greater than that of Sampson and Oh so very much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Why would I need a weapon of any sort of destruction when the very Name Jesus makes me at Peace with a mountain lion that actually appeared right above me or a rattlesnake that I wound up within less than an inch of? Who sees our enemies or any sort of danger that could possibly happen in any moment much better than we ever could? And can’t Jesus give us His protection from anything? I have had permits because I have been in the military and I have actually gotten one just for a boss of mine but I never did get any sort of man made weapon to carry because I Trust in Jesus!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.
