Let us come together in prayer, seeking God's divine protection and intervention for those in the path of the hurricane in Florida.
Firstly, let us remember the words of Psalm 46:1-3 WEB, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we wonβt be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."
Heavenly Father, we lift up to You all those who were unable or chose not to evacuate before the hurricane. We ask for Your divine protection over them, especially the elderly who were neighbors with our dear mother. Lord, be their shield and fortress. We specifically lift up Tom and his dog Nelly to You, asking for their safety and peace of mind.
We also bring before You the young families and anyone else still in evacuation zones. Lord, be their strong tower, and grant them the peace that transcends all understanding. Comfort them with Your loving presence, and let them know that they are not alone.
Father, we intercede for the entire area that will be affected by this hurricane. We pray against the destruction and chaos planned by the enemy, and we declare Your peace and protection over Florida. We also lift up the first responders and those who will be working to restore power and safety. Protect them, Lord, and grant them the strength and endurance they need to assist those in need.
Lastly, we want to remind everyone that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." It is in Jesus' name that we pray, trusting that He hears us and will answer according to His perfect will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let us continue to stand in faith, believing that God hears our prayers and will be a very present help in this time of trouble.
