Humble Servant of All
Pray for Jesus to work on this important matter as the prime minister is also a Christian but now is avoiding the responsibilities of the Prime Minister as he is certain that PAP will be replaced.
Dear Prime Minister, I am writing to express my growing concern over the continued delay in calling the next general election. It is increasingly clear that this delay is a strategic move by the People’s Action Party (PAP) to avoid the consequences of its actions, driven by a fear of losing public support. The electorate is more than ready to vote, yet the government continues to postpone this fundamental democratic process. Several key issues are contributing to widespread dissatisfaction: Foreign Talent Policies: The ongoing influx of foreign workers has displaced local talent, driven down wages, and created job insecurity for Singaporeans. It is clear that the current foreign talent policies must be permanently stopped and replaced with a system that prioritizes the employment and well-being of Singaporeans, not just the interests of foreign workers. MRT Failures and Overpriced Fares: Despite rising fares, the MRT system continues to break down, revealing a failure in infrastructure management. The government must invest in replacing outdated trains and overhauling the system to meet the needs of a growing population. Corruption and Erosion of Public Trust: Recent corruption scandals have further eroded public trust in the PAP. The failure to hold officials accountable damages the credibility of the entire government. Scandals and Cover-Ups: The affair involving the former Speaker of Parliament and the subsequent cover-up only further undermines the integrity of our political institutions. The public deserves better transparency and accountability. Moreover, the government's recent attempts to leverage benefits like CDC vouchers and other credits as political tools—threatening to withhold them unless citizens vote for PAP—are deeply troubling. This tactic not only manipulates the electorate but also undermines the democratic process and deepens public distrust. The people of Singapore are ready for change. Delaying the elections only demonstrates a fear of the people’s judgment and further erodes trust in the government. The time has come for transparency, accountability, and action. Call for the elections now, and let the people decide.
