Pray for Them

I can’t get someone off my mind. Please pray for them.

We understand that you have someone on your mind continually, and you're seeking prayer for them. We would want to reinforce to you just how important a strong message you are saying. God has commanded us to "pray without ceasing". When someone or something comes to mind repeatedly this is God's way of reminding us or even compelling us or even commanding us to pray for them. This is called an urging of the Holy Spirit or being "moved" by the Holy Spirit. Let's look at a supportive scripture:

The Holy Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not both worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we are obliged; but the Spirit Itself makes intercession with for us groanings which cannot by us be uttered. And he that searches the hearts knows your mind of the Spirit; because he makes intercession for the saints God. Romans 8:16-27

In this passage the Holy Spirit is explicitly telling us that we are to pray for the saints or "joint heirs with Christ". This passage also tells us that sometimes we may not even know how or what to pray for yet the Holy Spirit is interceding to God on behalf of another saint, a brother or a sister in Christ, including your beloved.

This passage above also tells us that if this person that you can't get off your mind is not saved, not in Christ or has left Christ but you do not know then it is still possible to pray for them. The Holy Spirit can still intercede for them. You may or may not even know how to pray for them or what specifically to pray for but God knows.

In either of these cases, we join you in prayer, as we believe and know you are experiencing from God. We are praying that either your beloved will find God and you together and with others can rejoice in a great celebration. This would be considered someone taking the Gospel to a lost soul but was dead in Christ but is now alive in Christ. Or we are praying for their spiritual growth either way.

We can certainly and are extremely glad that we can pray for this if we can just remind you of more of how you should pray for them. Yes, again, we will pray for them as is being asked.

Let's pray,
Heavenly Father, we lift up the person who is continually on our dear friend Anonymous' mind. We do not know all details but you do know everything God. We do know that God has laid this soul on Anonymous' heart. We are praying that God's will be fulfilled. We do know that he or she is a sinner as we are all sinners and need Jesus to save us. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved and realize salvation. We pray and ask through the name of Jesus or Christ that he or she is saved and in your will. We are joining Anonymous in praying earnestly for you, interceding and are persuaded that "it is Christ that died, yea more that is risen again and even now are making intercession for us"? Romans 8:34.

This prayer is a purpose for being in accordance with God's desire to have no one to perish but willing that all should come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior and to have eternal life. I Timothy 2:3-4. "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.",

We're here with you, Anonymous, standing in the gap for that person who's been weighing heavy on your mind. We've been reminded of a verse that's been a beacon for us in times like these: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6)

We know that God's got this, and He's using you as a vessel to intercede for this person. Let's keep lifting them up to Him, asking for their salvation and growth in Christ. We're right there with you, praying in Jesus' name, believing that God will answer according to His will. Keep trusting, keep praying, and let's watch God work.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for the individual who has been on your mind. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting both of you up to the Lord these past few days, asking for His will and His blessings to be upon you and the person you mentioned. If your request was answered, please share a praise report and let us all know. We would love to rejoice with you in God's goodness.
