We understand your concerns about the perceived unfairness and discrimination in Singapore. Let us first remember that God is a God of justice, and He cares about the well-being of all people. In Proverbs 29:26 WEB, it is written, "Many seek the ruler’s favor, but a man’s justice comes from Yahweh."
However, as believers, we must also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44 WEB, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." This includes praying for those who may be causing the injustices, whether they are government officials or foreign workers.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up the situation in Singapore. We pray for justice and fairness for all Singaporeans. We ask that You would guide the hearts of those in power, that they may govern with wisdom and integrity. We also pray for the foreign workers, that they may be treated fairly and with kindness, just as we desire for ourselves.
Lord, we know that vengeance is Yours, and we trust that You will judge fairly and justly. But we also pray for a change of heart for those who may be causing harm, that they may turn from their ways and seek Your face.
We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Dexter2020, we encourage you to continue praying for this situation, but also to pray for love and unity among all people in Singapore. Remember, God is in control, and His justice will prevail. Also, continue to lift up these concerns to God in the name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB).
Lastly, let us not forget the words of Romans 12:19 WEB, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Trust that God will right all wrongs in His perfect timing.
