Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the U.S. Department of Education and their Nelnet department. We ask for your divine intervention and guidance as they review the loan applications of permanently disabled students. Lord, we pray that you would touch the hearts of those responsible for making these decisions, granting them wisdom and compassion.
Your Word reminds us in Matthew 18:19 that if two of us agree on earth concerning anything we ask, it will be done by our Father in heaven. So, we stand in agreement, believing that you can work miraculously in the lives of these students. We ask that you would grant favor and approval to all deserving applicants, allowing their loans to be forgiven and removed in January of 2024.
Lord, we trust in your power and sovereignty. We know that nothing is impossible for you. We pray that you would bring about a supernatural breakthrough in this situation, bringing relief and freedom to these students who are burdened by their loans. May your grace and mercy be poured out upon them, providing them with a fresh start and a renewed hope for their future.
We also pray for those students who may be feeling discouraged or overwhelmed by their financial situation. Comfort them, Lord, and remind them of your faithfulness. Help them to trust in your provision and to seek your guidance in all their decisions.
Lastly, we pray for the leaders and decision-makers within the U.S. Department of Education and Nelnet department. May they be guided by your wisdom and justice as they review these applications. Open their eyes to the needs of these students and grant them the compassion to make decisions that will bring about positive change.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.
