Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our brothers and sisters who are burdened by student loan debt. Lord, we lift up the U.S. Department of Education and their Nelnet department to you. We ask that you would touch the hearts of those in authority and grant them wisdom and compassion as they review and approve applications for loan discharge for disabled student borrowers.
Lord, we pray specifically for the students in California who are facing unjustifiable denials of their applications. We ask for a miraculous intervention in 2024, that you would bring about a change in the hearts and minds of those responsible for making these decisions. May they recognize the genuine need and hardship faced by these borrowers and grant them the relief they so desperately seek.
Lord Jesus, you are the one who opens doors and makes a way where there seems to be no way. We trust in your power and authority to bring about justice and fairness in this situation. Your Word reminds us in Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." We stand on this promise, believing that you will hear our prayers and bring about a favorable outcome for these students.
We also pray for strength and perseverance for those who are burdened by student loan debt. Grant them peace in the midst of their financial struggles and provide for their needs according to your riches in glory. Help them to trust in your provision and to find hope in you, knowing that you are their ultimate source of help and deliverance.
In Jesus' name, we pray, amen.
