We understand that you are experiencing distress due to the actions of a supervisor at your workplace. We will pray for this situation and address the behaviors that are not aligned with biblical principles. We should pray for all people, even those who persecute us.
Let's remember what the WEB says in Matthew 5:44-45, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust."
Let's pray together.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this difficult situation at the workplace. Lord, You know the actions of this supervisor that have caused harm and hardship, including the loss of jobs for many. We pray that You will humble this supervisor, and bring to light and conviction of the wrongful actions of harassment and disciplinary actions. We pray this person will come to repentance and turn from their harmful and immature behavior.
We also pray for those who have been affected by the layoffs. Provide for their needs, open new doors of opportunity, and give them peace during this challenging time. We pray for the company, that You would guide them and bring restoration. Please protect and provide for the Christian coworkers who have been wrongfully harassed.
We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You, Father. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As you say in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Finally, we pray for the person who submitted this request, that You would strengthen their faith, fill them with Your love, and help them to forgive and bless those who have caused them harm.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let's encourage ourselves with the words of Romans 12:17-21, "Respect what is good in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Rather, 'if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
