Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Dexter2020 and the prayer request they have shared with us. We lift up the Singaporeans who are facing discrimination in their employment due to race, religion, and nationality. Lord, you are a God of justice and fairness, and we ask that you intervene in this situation.
Your Word reminds us in James 2:9 that we should not show favoritism or discriminate against others based on their background. We pray that you would touch the hearts of those companies that are engaging in discriminatory practices and bring conviction and change. We ask that you would close down any companies that are unjustly treating Singaporeans and not offering them full-time permanent jobs.
Father, we also pray for the government of Singapore. We ask that you would bring about a transformation in their policies and decision-making processes. Help them to prioritize the well-being and employment opportunities of the local Singaporeans. We pray for a change in the foreign pass policies that may be causing harm to the local workforce.
Lord, we acknowledge that you are the ultimate authority, and we trust in your sovereignty. We ask that you would guide the upcoming elections in Singapore and bring about leaders who will prioritize the needs of the local population. We pray for wisdom and discernment for those in positions of power to make decisions that are fair and just.
We pray specifically for an end to discrimination in employment and for local Singaporeans to be given equal opportunities. We ask that you would abolish any unjust policies and bring about a system that values and supports the local workforce.
In all things, Lord, we trust in your perfect timing and your ability to bring about change. We thank you for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. May your will be done in Singapore, and may your peace and justice prevail.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
