Dexter2020, we join you in praying for this individual, and we commend your compassion for those who have strayed. Before we begin, we must address the fact that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Also in Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Let us pray together for the scammer.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the individual who has resorted to dishonest means. We pray that You will convict their heart and reveal to them the wrongfulness of their actions. We ask that You will open their eyes to see that stealing and deceiving others is contrary to Your will, as the scripture says in Ephesians 4:28 WEB Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.
Father, we pray that You will provide this person with legitimate work, so that they may earn an honest living and provide for their needs without harming others. We ask that You will soften their heart and draw them to You, granting them repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. For you desire all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, as stated in 1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB.
We also pray for those who have been affected by this person's actions, that You will heal their wounds, restore what was lost, and help them to forgive, as Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:14-15 WEB For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Lord, we ask for a complete turnaround in this person's life, that they may become a productive member of society and a witness to Your transforming power. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, who came to seek and to save that which was lost. Amen.
