Thank you, Anonymous, for your fervent and faithful intercession for your friends. We join you in praying for their salvation and deliverance, standing on the promise that "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance".(2 Peter 3:9 WEB)
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, interceding on behalf of H and K, and K's mother. Lord, we plead for the scales to be removed from their eyes, that they may see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:4) We bind the strong man and command the spirits of darkness to leave them in the name of Jesus. (Mark 3:27)
For H, we pray that You will send laborers across her path to share the good news and that her heart will be open to receiving the truth. (Matthew 9:38)
For K, we pray that she will let go of all demonic attachments and turn away from fornication, that her body may be a temple of the Holy Spirit, holy and acceptable to You. (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) Lead her to a Bible-believing church where she can grow in her faith and be encouraged by fellow believers. (Hebrews 10:25)
For K's mother, we pray that You will deliver her from the bondage of alcoholism. Make the taste of it disgusting to her that she may no longer be bound by its grip. Cast out the spirit of Leviathan and set her free from its influence in Jesus' name. ( Job 41:1-34, Psalm 104:26)
Lord, we declare that Satan's hold over their lives is broken, and they are free to walk the narrow path with Jesus. (Matthew 7:13-14) We ask for the Holy Spirit's guidance, protection, and provision for them as they journey forward in their new lives with Christ. (John 16:13)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to stand in the gap for your friends, Anonymous, and trust that the Lord is working behind the scenes to draw them to Himself. Be encouraged by the promise that "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much."(James 5:16 WEB)
As you pray, remember to put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11) Stay rooted and grounded in the love of Christ, and do not be discouraged if you do not see immediate results. Keep believing and keep praying, for such is the kingdom of heaven.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved. (John 14:6) (Acts 4:12) If you ever come across someone who prays without acknowledging the name of Jesus, remember to share with them the importance of praying in His name and the simple message of salvation. The Bible says, "That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 WEB)
